Quiet week

This shows my commitment to my blog I'm posting even though there is not much to post!!! Played very little poker this week spent most of my free time watching season two of Las vegas.. Nikki Cox be fine smile

What I did play though was looking good. Played 2 sngs on Wed $50 and £20 full sngs won both of them.

Last night I decided to delve into Party Poker's $22 freezeout which hosted 419 runners where I took down 6th place for a $344 score. Can't grumble.

I've added Ruperts blog to the blog links on the right hand side as he as been my top referrer this week smile Good read check it out.

Finally I've uploaded two complete hand histories of two of my tournaments last week Stars PL $50 and Stars $33r to WSOP package. Just thought I'd try and share the wealth feel free to ask any questions you want about the histories by emailling me using the contact us link on the left hand side.

Ciao4Now.

Slacking really slacking

With these updates just means I have to write more when i do come round to making a post... So since my last post again my MTT game has been sharp but unfortunately faltering in the final stages.

Played 3 $33+3 rebuys on Stars with one package GTD.

Finished 17/313 , 19/345 and a lot less than 17th or 19th out of 150 smile

Tough end games in these tournaments real tough. If you added up the pokerdb's tally's for the final 18 players in the monday sat i played, it would have exceeded $1mil (oh and TJ Cloutier was sat to my right when i busted: "J9 of clubs" is his rumoured nick).

Last week sometime (this is what happens when you don't update your blog) I was running sweetly in Pokerrooms Euro $50 and Stars' PL $50 simultaneously, I was 17/40 on PR and 2/15 in stars after the 2nd breaks but suffered alas was not to be, I did however make $100 profit in each rather than the $6k that both first places woulda got me. Was a bit disappointed in that but when you don't win coinflips at crucial points shit happens.

Moving on and Saturday just passed i played in the Blonde Bash 2 tournament ran by the folks over at Dave Colclough's Blonde Poker.

I made the final 27 (i think) before running nines into Queens as a short stack but overall it was a fun day out, real friendly people over there I'm gonna make an effort to post there more often. Just for all the fans here is an Action shot. I'm in the black Oakley getup far right.

As far the the WSOP Quest next week I've taken pretty much a week off work where I'm going to be playing pretty much full time to build up some W$. I reckon I can at least make $1500W$ playing full time for a week so I'll see how it goes.

Til the next installment.. adieu

Snow Glorious Snow!!!!

So it snowed real deep in Edinburgh yesterday, me and the Mrs had a romantic day planned cinema, restaurant etc etc. But in the arctic conditions neither of us wanted to venture out (the bus's were probably not running anyway). Thus I was given free reign to play poker (W00t!).

Logged onto pokerstars what WSOP satellite can i play.. hang on there ain't any sub-satellites, I believe it was due to them wanting to fill up their $1mil tournament so I elected to play the $50 PL tournament instead and I tell you what their gonna have to rename it the suited_jock tournament cuz im now 2 for 2.

PokerStars Tournament #20793177, Pot Limit Hold'em
Buy-In: $50.00/$5.00
99 players
Total Prize Pool: $4950.00
Tournament started - 2006/03/12 - 07:30:00 (ET)

Dear mattymillne,

You finished the tournament in 1st place.
A $1,485.00 award has been credited to your Real Money account.

You earned 268.76 tournament leader points in this tournament.

Such a yoyo of a tournament the bubble lasted for like 45 minutes and I did not fair too well 5 handed. AQ,AJ,AK raising and a missing facing bets and I came to the final table the shortstack.

Doubled up with AA and added 50% with JJ then lost AKo to AKo to peg me down a few notches.

Battled back and found myself 3 handed with like 60%+ of the chips and it was plain saling from there.

Pads the bankroll abit more for the WSOP run.

big grin

My WSOP quest starts this weekend!!!!!!!!

I'm like a kid at christmas just now Pokerstars just launched their WSOP satellites for 2006 big grin big grin big grin big grin . I know for a fact im going to give it 100% of my poker time and concentration to land not just one but multiple seats for W$ how's that for confidence???

Full details can be found here!!!!

Basically from now on www.i-reraise.co.uk will be WSOP MANIA!!!!! as our hero tries to qualify for as many seats as possible!!

Here's how i will go about doing it basically the same way as I did for WPT Atlantis.

Play the $10+1 and $25+2 rebuy satellites to earn W$ (winning one will give me $650 W$) Rinse and repeat for as long as I can be bothered. Then play the $150+10 Double shooutouts where 1 seat is given. Basically its like winning a back to back sit n go.

I will also play the $1,800,000 guarantee! on July 17th guarantee 150 ME seats!!!!! this will be a $370 buyin!!!

I'm really excited , like really really excited I feel I am more motivated for the WSOP than I was for WPT Atlantis and that can only mean one thing !!!! VEGAS BABBYY"!!!!

You too can join me on pokerstars by downloading the software from the image below!!! DO IT NOW !!

With a 20% up to $600 between now and monday you would be a fool not to!!

What a crud week

Not like me not to post an update on the site in 2 weeks but it was with due cause. I suffered from a truely awful case of food poisioning from an Indian Takeaway we had last Friday.

Ended up taking 3 days off work and barely moved from the sofa in those 3 days whilst eating barely enough to survive.(Watched season 1 of Las Vegas which was good)

Pokerwise it's been mega-frustrating. I took another mini jump up levels from $20's and $30's sngs and mtt's to $50's and $100's. It didn't last very long and am now back to where I always am. Least I didn't go broke eh?

My MTT game is still sharp i just ain't getting the luck i need, in fact I'd go as far as saying that I cannot win coinflips that matter.

My best results this week

$10 mtt - 4/43
$20 mtt - 24/180 , 7/180
$40 mtt - 13/103

I know that I'm saving up a whole bunch of good luck and coinflip wins for the start of Stars WSOP qualifiers!!!

I will be playing in the WSOP year mark my words!!!!!!!!
