And it was a sweet one.
97 runners for the PL $50+5 on Pokerstars on a rainy miserable Sunday afternoon only thing to do really was to take it down and finally get my name on the pokerdb.
Tis funny really 'mattymillne' on pokerdb up til now has shown $0 in Tournament winnings and 0 Final tables when in fact if you add up W$ and WPT package its touching $20k.
Anyway my first cash tournie win that will show up for $1,455.
So unless you've been living under a rock you will have heard that the online poker community this week had to face its multi-accounting demons out in full view.
I'm referring infact to "The Granny Fiasco" as dubbed by a 2+2 member where a big name player in the online community 'JJProdidgy' had two entries into the big party sunday tournament one under his name and one under his 'granny's'. Long story short he won with the second account he busted out early he posted about it on the pocket fives forum saying that his granny was doing well and he took over (lol) only to win the thing. (there was no granny present btw!).
Anyway kudos to party poker who on hearing the public outcry investigated the matter and not only took the winnings out of his 'Granny's' account but also any monies his personal one for about $180k between the two, closed them down and banned them both from playing on party.

In other news Party Poker launched new software this week and new blind levels for sngs and MTT's with 2k in starting chips for SNG's.
I made a deposit to check it all out and am stuck in a wormhole where i constantly replay a step 3 over and over again losing with the best hand on the bubble. Sucks tbh. I'll post more about the software when i've had a good play.

I'm feeling my MTT game has returned to me. I posted last week about my two satellite wins well to follow on this week I won my first ITH league event 1/80 odd runners for $30 (was a freeroll lol) and I've just wound up cashing in my first 180 man sng on stars 3/180 for $430... My AQ ran into a manics KK three handed. Shit happens.
Anyway if you can work up a stack early doors these 180 man sngs are golddust the play was shocking especially from bubble time chip leaders... they just don't know how to work the stack.
Not really got much to update aside from that.

So say I type Annie Duke Naked and Britney Speirs and Jenna Jameson Naked. I get hits.. should be a laugh.

Yup I sure am feeling back in the zone. Over $1k in profit the last two days alot of it helped by taking down a $27 rebuy satellite for the EPT. Which was worth 650W$.
They were giving away 7 seats and I got to the final table 9/9. Through playing correct satellite strategy I was able to keep my head above water and eventually bust out the villain who was in 8th place to take down the seat. I folded QQ twice to small raises with a low M to cling on.

Not meaning to brag but out of 8 $27 rebuys for W$ I've played 8 won 5 and bubbled for cash three times.
