09/05/2006: "Does anyone really want to hear how I'm doing in cash games?"

Well todays post is the reason why you haven't heard from me. Noone wants to hear how im griding away at the 100 and 200 NL tables or the $500 swings i have due to my LAGGish play. It's just not as exciting as Tournies for blog content. It is however very profitable , very very profitable and that is good smile .

I am still playing MTT's just not as often as before:

I played the $475 EPT super sat but I never really got going I took an aggressive move against who i felt was the weakest player at the table with A5 on a 678A board only to be shown A6 and that was that.

In Sunday just gone's biggies on stars i lost 4 coinflips in a row to the same player and with the help of another player managed to get him from just 400 chips to 4000 then running AJ into KK!!!

On my maiden voyage in the Ultimate Bet 200+15 I lasted two orbits before running KK into AA... lol happy days.

But anyway I guess the main reason I am posting is that I got lucky and won the Seat lottery ensuring me a place on the first live event of the APAT poker tour.

This is in birmingham and is a £75 120 runner event with a Kick Ass Structure which I am really looking forward to.

Aside from the £15,000 prize pool there is an added EPT sat and hightened media coverage for the winner.. whatever that means smile

So thats 2 weeks on saturday and im really looking forward to it...

and OMG more news the WPT PCA satellites are gonna begin in October ( i emailled stars to ask them)!!!

Last but not least big time congrats to fellow ITH Paul Taylor who in two weeks has won in excess of $45,000 !!!!!!! WP mate your kicking ass just wanting some of your hot streak for myself smile smile
