08/14/2006: "Ship It!"
So this week I took down my first round 5 Rounders tournament for $3,000. I played perfect Poker if there is such a thing and even though I went into HU behind I knew I was taking it down. Unfortunately Primas Hand History segment is poor so I can't share the momentus occasion with all you readers :*(
Aside from that I won two seats to the Pokerstars Million and one seat to the WCOOP HU event on Sunday and I only played for 2.5hrs in the afternoon. I just feel my game is where I want it just now and if I can stay tilt free the future is very bright.
Onto the million itself in fact you don't wanna hear another bad beat story lets just say 90% fav allin on turn and Riverstars gives us what its famed for :E
This is a very broken up and segmenty post but after checking my shift rota to see how I can play the EPT its looking like London that im gonna focus on. Will probably play a supersat this coming Saturday... So my new mini goals are as follows
Play the two PL events in the WCOOP
Play EPT London
Get an early start in the WPT PCA qualifiers and go back to the bahamas.
Keep cracking on with the Prima Rounders Tournaments for easy $$.
I did promise a guide to winning these and I will not disappoint.
Winning Prima Rounders Tournaments Part#1 by Matthew Milne
Round 1 Skip it. There are far too many bad beats and suckouts and with only two places getting paid its not worth the time or the effort.
Stick to low level sngs and work up between 10-20 buyins for the Round 2 level so $250 if your willing to gamble and $500 if your conservative.
Part 2 follows next month.
